I think I caught the scent of our mate.

Instead of the forest filling with shrubs and trees we stopped on the edge of a clearing. In the clearing was a red wolf.

He was huge.

My wolf felt my panic and sent a comforting wave to me trying to calm me down.

We will be fine. Mate will not hurt us. At least, I hope so...
