About this novel

The world of Eclair faces annihilation as three races collide—Humans, Beastmen, and Demons locked in devastating warfare. Summoned as mankind's savior, one hero fulfills his destiny, defeats the darkness, and returns victorious. His triumph proves short-lived. The Human King, terrified that this empowered hero will seize his throne, betrays his champion through forbidden transfer magic, condemning him to rebirth as an infant in the modern world.

Sixteen years later, the former hero lives as Suzaki Setsu, an introverted high school student lost in books while enduring relentless bullying. Secretly, he seeks any path back to Eclair. When the summon ritual activates unexpectedly, dragging him and his entire class to the otherworld, his prayers are answered.

Transported to Eclair's distant future—five years beyond his initial departure—Suzaki escapes the Human Country's control. He resolves to reunite with old companions: the Demon King and Beast King. His plans crumble immediately. Caught in webs of conspiracy and warfare, the apathetic former hero reluctantly discovers that returning to Eclair means confronting the very conflicts he desperately wanted to avoid.
