About this novel

During a demon-summoning ritual, Aiwass awakens to memories of his past life—only to realize he's trapped inside a six-year-old online game his family's corporation created and operated. His adoptive father commands the primary antagonist faction, and Aiwass knows his scripted role too well: defect from the protagonist's camp, sacrifice himself for the player character, and die at his righteous brother's hands before ever reaching the true story.

But Aiwass carries an unexpected advantage. He's memorized every hidden progression route exclusive to player characters and understands the cultivation mechanics governing each Path. With this knowledge, he believes he can subvert his doomed destiny and escape the narrative's iron grip.

There's just one critical problem: according to the game's canon, the protagonist should have rescued him long before this ceremony even began.

Bound to the ritual altar as a sacrifice, Aiwass confronts an impossible choice—fight a predetermined story or accept his coded fate.
