Chapter 140 I've found her

Lenora's POV

I rushed down into into my mansion, where Simon, Owen and Raine where seated in the living room, probably waiting for me.

" I've found her, I finally found her ". I nodded my head, a huge smile plastered on my face as I sang." I've actually found her ".

" Found who? "

" What's going on mum? "

Owen and Raine asked at the same time.

I just couldn't help myself from grinning as I danced around happily.

Today was officially the happiest day of my life.

" Len, what's going on? " Simon asked walking up to me as he held my hands. " And why are you crying? "

Tears?

I blinked, realizing that tears had begun to flow from my eyes again.

" This... This are tears of joy Simon, joy ". I answered, enjoying the suspense in the room.

" Could you tell us so we can be part of this joy? " Owen remarked sarcastically while standing up from his chair. " Some of us had to take a quick two hours flight down here in a jet just because you mentioned that it was really urgent ". He groaned.

" While thankfully some of us were already coming to the country and just branched over " Raine said with a small laugh annoying his older brother who glared at him.

I chuckled watching them interact with each other.

Today, I could and would take anything and everything from these two sons of mine, because I finally found my daughter.

Or did she find me?

I had done the check again, two more times to be sure, and they all turned out positive. Just to be extremely and really certain, I did the last one.

This time I didn't inform anyone about it, not even Joan. I trusted her and all, but this was something I couldn't afford to play with, and it still turned out positive.

Not only was Emerald alive, she was not within reach.

I sniffled, covering my mouth with the back of my hands to hold my sob.

" Seriously mum, what is it? " Raine asked in concern, and Owen seconded. " We already know it's not bad since you've been smiling from ear to ear since you came in, so what is it? "

Simon held my face in his hands so I would look at him.

He still looked so handsome even over fifty, I couldn't help but let out a small smile as I stared at his face. " My love, what is it? " He asked softly, and I inhaled deeply.

" I've found her". I asked after a while, and I felt all three pairs of eyes focused on me.

"Found who?" Raine asked and I looked at him nodding my head.

"Your sister".

As if a bombshell was dropped, all three pairs of eyes widened in shock and disbelief as they stared at me.

"My... My, my sister?" Raine asked in an incoherent manner after a while. I nodded at him, the smile returning to my lips, not like it ever left.

Simon shook his head, removing his hands from mine " Lenora, not this again "

"Not what?" I asked curiosity.

What did he mean?

"This..." He pointed at me, more specifically at the smile on my face. " I've told you to stop, stop this. Emerald has been missing for over twenty years now, but you didn't, did you? Now you're back all happy when you're probably being tricked again".

" I've forgotten that today was or is, the day Emerald went away from us. " Owen said with a sigh returning back to his previous seat.

Went way? Why did it sound like he she was dead or something.

I pursed my lips shaking while pointing at him. " First of all, your sister is not dead, so don't make it sound like that, and second... It's was because she's back "

Raine grunted, hanging his head down before raising it back up with the support of his hands. " Mum, you're forgetting that this has happened before, it's probably just another ambitious lady who bribed a doctor again. "

Owen glared at his younger brother before I could chip in. " All the doctors in my hospital are loyal and decent, they don't collect bribes ".

" Tell that to the doctor who connived with that young girl and tricked not only mother, but this entire family " Raine immediately retorted.

" Do you know how many years ago it was? I wasn't even in charge of the hospital then "

" But... "

"Enough!" I shouted obtaining everyone's attention.

" I didn't call you all here so you can banter words with each other, " I said glaring at them each before turning to look at Simon who was also looking at me, but with worry in his eyes.

"I know you're worried, and you have every right to be. Even I didn't believe it at first, but Joan said she did the test three times".

"Joan... As in, Joan Jett?" Owen chipped in and I nodded.

Simon still had the look of disbelief on his face, and I took back his hands and placed them on mine, my eyes watered as I began to feel emotional. " Still yet I had my doubts, and I did the test three more times Simon... She is the one "

Simon's eyes changed red and I could tell he was fighting back the urge to cry. " Lenora are you sure? You can't just say something like this and take it back later ".

Despite the fact he has always supported me and never for once blamed me for Emerald's, I knew deep down he missed his daughter more than anything.

"Mum are you being serious? You did the test yourself and it's her?" Raine asked still in doubt.

I smiled at him nodding softly.

Ever since they were little, both he and Owen had always doted on their little sister. Giving into her every tantrum and doing her wishes, but he was closer to her.

They were almost inseparable back when they were younger, Owen would have to battle with Raine all the time just so he could hold her.

As all the old memories came back to me, I was hit with a sudden wave of nostalgia.

" Simon, our daughter is really back ". My voice broke toward the end and Simon enveloped me in a tight hug.

" Oh please let this be true ". He whispered and I chuckled softly. " It is, trust me ".

" I felt a connection with her when I first saw her in the hospital and I just wanted to be around her. At that time, I didn't know why, but I felt drawn to her. Now I know the reason, she's my daughter". I said the last words more to myself than to any other person in the room.

" So who is this young lady? Do we all know her? And how did she come to the hospital, I meant why? "

" Not all at once Raine, I'm still taking it in myself". I chuckled again, gently pulling away from Simon's hold and walking over to the nearest sofa to take a seat. " I believe you know her Raine, probably more than any of us in this room". I said after a while.

Raine pointed at himself in surprise. " Me? "

" So you knew where and who our sister was all this years but you refused to day anything? Tsk tsk, hoe shameful of you ". Owen joked causing Raine to instantly glare at him, then he looked at me, blinking his eyes as he pouted" Mum "

" Raine is innocent of this, don't judge my son ". I defended Raine who smirked at Owen.

" Len, " Simon called and I turned to face my darling and ever supporting husband " who is she? "

" Well..." I trailed.

The suspense was killing everyone in the room, and I was really enjoying it.

" Mum"

"Mum"

"Len "

All three voices groaned at the same time and I giggled nodding my head. " Alright. "

" She is an actress, just started though, but has already made a name for herself with just the first movie she starred in that is still yet to premiere ". I kept my eyes on Raine as I continued. He was probably already racking his head to guess who she was. " She is in jail right now, for a crime I'm sure she didn't commit. " I shook my head as I watched the eyes of my son's and husband go round " Nah... actually she's in an hospital right now."

"Our daughter is in jail?"

Raine sighed shutting his eyes. "I knew it, Rachel"
