Annette looked at Alina and said, "Because I never hurt her."
Lucas sneered sarcastically.
Annette said, "From what you said, I guess you don't know what really happened. Just now, I was praying to the Moon Goddess. I wished that Connor and I would be happy together, and I also wished the same for you and Ms. Grace. But she was angry because of this. She thought that I was humiliating her. Lucas seemed to have calmed down.

Lucas was getting angry.

Marcus said awkwardly, "Annette, I'm sorry. I asked Alina what happened between you two. Lucas overheard it and he misunderstood. That's why things turned this way."
Annette looked at the silent Lucas and said, "You should apologize to me for your groundless accusation against me just now."
Lucas looked at her coldly.
At this time, Connor said, "I agree. You shouldn't throw a tantrum at innocent people. She's kind enough and only asks you to apologize."
Lucas sneered sarcastically, "I will never apologize to anyone from the Black Thorn Pack."

Lucas still looked gloomy after he returned to his residence.

Alina got up and said, "No, not her. I'm fine with people blessing our marriage, but not from her."

"Do you think you can change anything by secretly loving Connor? He doesn't have feelings for you anymore. Everyone can see that he is so in love with Annette. Only you are still lying to yourself."
Alina turned around and glared at him. "Stop it."
"No, I won't. Or you'll never wake up? Connor doesn't know what kind of person you are, but I do. If Connor knows what you have done, guess what he will do to you?"
Her eyes turned cold instantly. She said angrily, "Are you threatening me?"

Lucas looked at her coldly and said, "Well, that makes us a perfect match."
