*Third person's pnt. of view*
As their laughter died down in the car, the car came to a stop, and the driver looked back informing Lucas and Jade that they have arrived.
They waited a few more seconds as Jade hear a noise of groaning and creaking metal, and she looked out the window to see a huge gate opening.
Once the opening was large enough for the car to drive through, the car once again began its course.
They drove on for about five more minutes before the car came to a full stop, and then Jade and Lucas were escorted out the car.
When Jade spotted the house. Wait correction MANSION, it was as thought the screws from her jaw went loose, as her jaw hit the floor in wonder.
The mansion was about three stories high, surrounded by a perfect garden of floral arrangements.
Jade stared in awe, as the sun radiated off the white paint covering the walls, but her moment was cut short when Lucas wrapped his arms around her, pulling her to his chest and said "its beautiful isn't it? And it's ours, all ours."
His arms around her made her feel warm and fuzzy inside, but as soon as the words registered in Jade's mind, she pulled away from Lucas, feeling very uncomfortable by his words, and scolding herself for actually being affected by his touch.
Lucas balled his fist, yet restrained himself from pulling her back to him.
In time, Lucas thought, in time she will come to her senses, and she will no longer pull away from me.
They stood in awkward silence for what felt like an eternity, but was actually just a few seconds.
Lucas cleared his throat as he said "Well come on then."
He ushered her to the front door, and he opened it, allowing her in.
"I will give you a tour later, but for now, let's just head up to our room, and you can change out of that dress."
Jade visibly gulped as she stuttered out "ou-our roo- room? B-b-but-" Jade was in a daze, while Lucas was babbling on, she was mesmerized by the beauty of this place.
Two grand staircases led up to the second floor, then they come together forming one staircase that's leads up the the third floor.
The ceiling was accented with a grand chandelier, almost like the one from frozen, except it wasn't made out of ice.
The light from the sun shone through the details of he chandelier, casting shimmering shadows all over the ceiling and walls.
The sight was just beautiful.
"Yes, our room. Did you forget Jade? You and I are together now." Lucas declared.
And that's when she revived from her daze.
What did he just say?
Jade was about to lash out at him, but then she held her tongue, just as an idea popped in her mind.
"Well let's go." Lucas said placing his hand on the small of her back.
And although she should've felt disgusted, she couldn't help the fluttery feeling that erupted in her stomach from his touch.
Oh, I got issues. Jade thought.
They climbed the flight of stairs up to the second floor, then made a right, down a Long hallway, to the last door in that hall.
Lucas opened the door, and Jade's breath was taken away.
The bedroom was spacious with a king sized bed, floor to ceiling windows, and a balcony!
I mean a freaking balcony!
"You like it? I made sure that the floor was carpeted, and I made sure that there was enough space so you could walk around, run and do pretty much anything you like. Um I also made sure you had a nice and large enough television, so then you could see perfectly from almost anywhere in the room, and I -"
"Oh shut up already." Jade said cutting him off, "its fine. It's beautiful." She added, because Lucas actually seemed nervous about her reaction.
"Really? Do you like it?" He asked, his eyes hopeful, "Because if you don't I can have it changed however you like."
"It's fine." Jade laughed, playing along with Lucas, but in her mind she was already formulating an escape plan " I love it." She added for effect.
And Lucas visibly relaxed.
Jade walked in, but she stopped in her tracks as something caught her eyes, it was a picture frame with many different pictures of Lucas and this girl who looked almost identical to Jade, and at the bottom of the frame was written "Marley & Lucas Forever in love"
Jade turned to address Lucas except he was gone.
Lucas noticed Jade going towards the picture and a sudden wave of emotion washed over him, and so he walked out, before she could turn around and interrogate him.
While Lucas was gone, Jade quickly ran to the balcony, she looked at the distance between her and the ground.
When she estimated that she could get to the ground without breaking anything, she made up her mind then she ran back inside and changed into a more comfortable outfit which consists of tennis shoes, track pants, and a loose top.
Afterwards she went back to the balcony. She looked up and down and there was no sign of anyone, she looked all around and there were no cameras, or so she thought, so she crossed her legs over the barrier of the balcony and she dropped herself to the ground. It took about a second before she landed hard on her ankles but it wasn't anything damaging. She quickly sprung to her feet and made a run towards the wall that surrounded the mansion.
Once she reached it, she sprinted along the perimeter of the wall looking for anything that could help her climb over the massive barrier.
She was so into the idea of escaping that she didn't realized she was being followed.
It wasn't until she heard a menacing growl behind her that she stopped in her step, and lifted her hands up in sign of fear, and surrender. She then heard a gun cock, and then she heard his voice as he instructed "turn around slowly."
She did as she was told and she came face-to-face with an angry Lucas and two mean looking Pitbulls, they growled menacingly at her and she was instantly frozen to the spot. She looked up to Lucas and she kind of smiled innocently knowing that she was in trouble, and next thing she knew she was engulfed in darkness.
*Lucas's pnt of view*
After a few more minutes I grew the balls and decided to enter to face Jade's interrogation, except she wasn't there. Her wedding dress was sprawled out on the floor, her bag was open but so was the balcony door. I didn't waste a second, I ran straight to my security room and there I caught her on the camera running along the wall, and by my guess, she was trying to escape.
I quickly released the Pitbulls, to intimidate her, knowing they would never actually hurt her.
It took her a while to figure out the dogs were behind her.
When they finally trapped her, I made my way to her with my gun to add a little more to her fear.
I made sure I cocked it loud enough for her to hear, then I said "turn around slowly." And she did.
Her eyes went wide when she noticed the Pitbulls, but when she looked over at me with that innocent smile, as if she wasn't trying to escape a few seconds ago, I couldn't help the anger that took me over, and next thing I knew I knocked her out, and her body went limp in my arms.
F**k! I couldn't believe I lost control, and hurt her...again.
I carried her to my room and then I took a damp towel and tapped it across her head as I said "Jade, Jade wake up." She mumbled a bit and I knew she was conscious but that wasn't enough. I started tapping her on her face saying more urgently "wake up, wake up!"
*Third Person’s Pnt. Of View*
Then her eyes slowly opened and she looked at me curiously and then she said "Who's Jade?"
"You, you're Jade." Lucas said carefully.
"No I'm not." Jade said shaking her head confused.
"You don't remember who you are?" Lucas asked again carefully.
"Yes I do. I am um, my name is.. um, oh I am... oh! I don't remember." She exclaimed, then she giggled.
"You don't remember huh?" Lucas said, his eyes drifted over to the picture of Marley and himself. A devilish smile suddenly took place on his face, and he turned towards Jade saying " oh honey I'm sorry it just slipped out, see you remind me of my cousin, her name is Jade, but your name is Marley and I'm your husband. We've been married for two years."
