Why am I here?
Dad, Jayson, Jackson and Ares are drunk. They were singing, talking and laughing together.
They even sang the National Anthem together. Mom already went back to the hotel because 's too tired and I should have gone with her.
I thought they will be done after they screamed singing to Bon Jovi but.. they fooled me. I tried stop Ares but he told me to sit pretty.
That's what he said.
"Babe, just sit pretty for me. You're so fucking beautiful. I'm the luckiest man in the world!" He amd I face palmed myself.
I had to call for help to carry them to the car. I drove Ares' car back to the hotel and Jayson Ares with him. We went up to the hotel room full of struggle.
There won't be a second time.
Dad went to his room and Jackson and Jayson went to his room. Ares was sleeping on the sofa I was debating whether I should go back or stay here.
When I walked out from the bathroom, I heard someone's phone ringing. I followed the sound it was Ares'. It kept ringing that I was debating if I should take it out of his pocket or not.
I decided to ignore it by grabbed a bottle of water. Because the phone kept ringing, Ares ended sitting on the sofa. He took out his phone and answered it.
"Hello." He's still so drunk, anyone on the other side for sure will notice.
"Yeah yeah.. whatever. Wrong Number!" with that he ended the call and threw his phone.
"Athena! Where are you? Athena!" He whined like a little kid. I walked towards him and he widely when he saw me. He gestured me to sit on his lap.
"What?" As soon as I sat on his lap, he hugged me. He turned my body to face him and he his face to my chest.
"You know.. you look like her.." He said and that made me raise my eyebrows.
"Look like who?"
"Madeline, my ex-fiancee." When he said that, I felt a big punch on my face. I bit my bottom lip I tasted blood.
"Really? Is that why you picked me?" I asked wanting to hear more.
"Yeah."
"So.. why did you two break up?"
"She's too clingy, annoying, and.. she cheated on me."
"That's why you don't want to settle down?"
"Yeah. She came to the office today with her family. She wanted to talk to me."
"Why didn't you?"
"Told her that I have a girlfriend and that I'm going to spend time with her and her family." He .
"How did she react?"
"Her face was priceless. She told me that I will never find someone like her." He laughed.
"So.. when will you break this arrangement?" I was surprised that I didn't cry or try to smack .
"Uhmmm I don't know, I don't think I want to." He said as he kissed my neck.
The information was enough for me. I was stupid enough to feel that we're more than just an , I guess he's right.
It was all just an agreement.
Besides we used each other and gained something mutually.

I told myself that I should have known everything is a game. I will not cry and make it a big deal of it.
"You're tired, go to sleep." I said as I got off of him. He laid on the sofa again and I grabbed a to cover him. I grabbed his phone from the ground and accidentally lit the phone screen.
I saw Madeline's message, she told him to go to her hotel to talk. She was begging for him and I the phone down on the table.
I decided to go home instead of staying at the hotel. I just want to be alone.
The next day, Ares called me tonhave breakfast together at the hotel. I went there and Ares was waiting for me at the lobby.
I smiled. "How was your head?"
"Hurt pretty bad, I don't remember anything." He said. "Your mom gave me an advil.."
"Okay. Let's go eat breakfast." I said as I walked past him. He put his arm around my shoulder we walked into the hotel restaurant.
I chuckled seeing my brothers and my dad, "You all look like a zombie.." I said and Jayson me to sit down.
"What do you want? Let me get it for you." Ares said.
"You sit down, I'll get some bread. Do you want one?" I asked and he shook his head. He sat and I walked away to grab some food.
I grabbed some bacon and eggs along with creamcheese bagel. I grabbed a glass of milk and back to the table.
"You all look crazy." Mom said and I looked at the four of them. I chuckled and I took a bite of my .
"I'll drop you to the restaurant after this." Ares said as he leaned to me.
"Okay." After we finished our breakfast, my family planned to sleep a few hours before going LA. I planned to work and joined them later.
"There won't be a second time for going wasted like yesterday." I said as I got into Ares' car. He as he put his seatbelt on.
"It was a bad idea, it was my first time.. getting so drunk."
"You were a great.. singer." I said sarcastically and he turned to me.
"That's so mean, I'm like Harry Styles when I'm in the shower." He said and I laughed.
"I was struggling with the four of you, I had to call for help."
"Sorry, it won't happen again." He said and with that he drove out from the hotel building. He me at the restaurant.
"Do you want me to join you and your family later or.. you want to spend time with them?" He .
"Do you mind if I.. spend time with them?" I asked and he shook his head.
"Thank you." I said and he nodded. He gave a kiss on my cheek and I took off my seatbelt. I the car door and got off from his car.
"Athena." He called me.
"Hmm.."
"Did I do something wrong last night?" I gulped nervously.
"No, why?" I asked.
"I don't know. I felt.. different." He said as he looked at me straight into my eyes.
"You didn't do anything wrong, Ares."
"But.. your eyes.."
"What's wrong with my eyes?" I asked.
"I don't know.. it felt different."
"Ares, nothing's wrong."
"But you.."
"Ares."
"Fine. Call me later at night, tell me everything about your sightseeing.." He said and I smiled .
"Okay."
