Revenge with My Quadruplets

Chapter 14

Ch. 14 / 160 May 08, 2026

After Derek left with Emily, Terry and Nick were no longer in the mood for fishing.

They packed up and prepared to leave.

At that moment, a few bodyguards stopped them.

"Gentlemen, did you see a woman?" the bodyguards asked.

"Who are you?" Terry asked warily.

  Nick raised his fishing rod.

"Terry and Nick? Why are you here?" A woman's voice sounded.

Terry and Nick turned to look. "Rose?" they said together.

Rose walked over, surrounded by bodyguards, yet she was in a bad shape.

There was a wound on her forehead, and her face was covered in dried blood. Her expensive clothes were torn.

"Have you seen a woman?" Rose said impatiently.

"I see many women every day. You are one of the women I saw today." Nick shrugged his shoulders.

Rose couldn't get any information from Terry and Nick. For who they were, Rose didn't dare to be rude to them.

She could only vent her anger on the bodyguards. She slapped the bodyguard beside her. "You are all trash. You can't even find Emily."

Terry and Nick loathed Rose's rude behavior. If not for Derek, they wouldn't bother talking to her.

They walked to their cars and put the fishing tools in the trunks.

"I remember now, Terry." Nick suddenly grabbed Terry.

"Buddy, what do you remember?" Terry asked.

"Miss Mermaid is Emily, the eldest daughter of the Hodkinson family. She was very famous in upper-class society, so I felt she looked very familiar," Nick told Terry.

Rose heard this and rushed over. "You've seen Emily. Where is she?"

Terry and Nick looked at each other, not knowing how to answer Rose.

Emily seemed special to Derek, but Rose was Derek's fiancée. Besides, Emily and Rose were sisters.

Oh goodness, would a cold-blooded fellow like Derek have love problems?

Although they had many questions in their hearts, Terry and Nick would not tell Rose.

"You heard it wrong. I'm not talking about Emily," Nick said.

"No, I didn't. Emily, come out!" Rose said stubbornly.

  Rose kept walking around.

Suddenly, she found Derek's fishing rod.

"This is Derek's fishing rod. Derek is here too? Where is he?" Rose grabbed Nick and asked.

"Relax, Rose. Let go of Nick first." Terry stopped Rose.

"Emily isn't here, and Derek isn't here either. They left together!" Rose suddenly realized it.

"What are you doing, Rose? Where are you going?" Terry shouted.

Rose suddenly let go of Nick and took away Derek's fishing rod.

"I am going to find Derek. Hurry up and drive, you trash," she yelled and got in the car.

"Rose is going crazy. I'm worried about Derek," Nick said to Terry.

"Let's go. We'll follow her. I hope nothing will happen," Terry replied.

Rose's car soon drove off while Terry and Nick followed her.

"This is the way to the Scott's. Rose is going to find Derek," Nick said.

"I can't get through to Derek. He is off today, and his assistant is not there," Terry said anxiously.

Finally, they arrived at the Scott's.

Because of Derek's order, Rose could not go in. She screamed.

"Oh my, I swear I will never marry a crazy woman," Nick said contemptuously.

Terry and Nick got out of the car and entered the villa.

  Rose followed them in.

"I don't know if letting her in is a good idea," Terry said worriedly.

"Let Derek handle it. We can't let Rose stand at the door and scream. This is scary," Nick responded.

The butler of the Scott family welcomed them.

  "Hello, Charlie," Terry greeted.

"Good afternoon, Terry and Nick." Charlie nodded.

  "Where is Derek?" Nick asked.

"He is in the study on the second floor. Please come with me."

Since they were friends with Derek, Charlie took them directly to the door of the study.

"Derek, Terry, Nick, and Rose are here." Charlie knocked on the door.

After a while, Derek's voice came through the door. "Let them in."

With a bang, Rose pushed the door open.

Charlie looked at Derek, who waved to let him leave.

"I think we should leave as well." After Nick said that, he pulled Terry away.

"I've told you that you can't come here without my permission." Derek looked at Rose coldly.

Rose calmed down since Derek looked serious.

"I miss Aaron and Ian, Derek." Rose was smart and did not mention Emily.

She could not let Derek know that she wanted to kill Emily.

In front of Derek, Rose always pretended to be kind and tolerant.

"I am their mother. If I can spend more time with them, we will get along better," Rose said.

"And then?" Derek asked. He was curious about Rose's intention.

"I want Aaron and Ian to stay with me for a while," Rose said cautiously.

Derek didn't answer. He sized her up.

He then sighed, "Rose, I can't agree with that."

Before Rose could speak, Derek stopped her.

"Rose, look in the mirror," Derek said earnestly.

Rose looked at herself in the mirror and regained her composure.

In the mirror, her face was pale. Her clothes were ripped. She looked awful.

"Rose, you can't even take care of yourself," Derek said. "If you've calmed down, please leave."

"Derek, I miss Aaron and Ian too much. I gave birth to them. How can I not love them?"

Rose racked her brains, wanting to get Derek's sympathy.

"Please leave, Rose. I don't want to repeat it," Derek warned her.

Before Rose could speak, her phone rang.

  Rose was surprised. "Laura?"

"I'm at the Scott's. What? I'll be there soon." Rose was very anxious.

After she hung up the phone, she said, "Derek, something happened to the Hodkinson Group. I have to deal with it. I'm leaving."

  After that, Rose went away.

Derek's face darkened. Rose did not love Aaron and Ian. They were her tools to get close to him.

She would choose everything else over Aaron and Ian.

'Why did I have a one-night stand with such a woman?' Derek thought.
