Revenge with My Quadruplets

Chapter 63

Ch. 63 / 160 May 08, 2026

At the same time, at the breakfast table in the Scott's, they were talking about the same thing.

"What? Go to school?" Ian cried out in fear.

Derek slowly stirred the oatmeal. He ignored the surprised Ian.

Derek had thought about this matter for a long time. He had also checked the school out. The education of the two children was important. Now that Aaron was getting better, Derek hoped that Aaron would be able to interact with more kids of his age and gradually open himself to others.

This news gave Ian quite a shock that he lost his appetite for breakfast. He was depressed and put the food back on the plate.

For Ian, going to school was like locking a bird in a cage. He wouldn't be as free as before and he wanted to play with Aaron all the time.

Moreover, the two of them had played with other children before. Those children always bullied Aaron when Derek was away. Ian had fought with them several times. Later, he rarely saw those children.

If they went to school, would the children there bully Aaron?

Ian thought a lot, yet he still didn't want to go to school.

Derek saw that Ian was poking at the food on his plate with a sullen face. Derek did not comfort him. In Derek's opinion, there was no room for negotiation. Given time, Ian would accept it and go to school.

In addition to their education, Derek also hoped that Ian could make more friends. In the past, when Aaron was not in such a good condition, Ian often talked to Aaron non-stop. Derek was distressed for both Aaron and Ian.

"Daddy, going to school is not fun at all," Ian said sullenly.

"Ian, there will be many children at school, and you'll learn many things. You don't understand the number puzzles Aaron played, do you? You will understand after going to school, and you can play it with Aaron." Derek's words got Ian tempted.

"Alright. Daddy, I'll go, so I'll be able to play number puzzles with Aaron," Ian said bitterly and firmly.

"Aaron, what do you think?" Derek was a little nervous. He didn't know how Aaron would react.

  To Derek's surprise, Aaron nodded.

  Thus, the decision was made.

Meanwhile, Emily quickly convinced Chris and Diane. Diane was very excited. She liked to play with others, but Chris was a little reluctant.

His peers were too childish in his eyes. They knew too little and had too many questions. Chris was already a great hacker, and he thought he would not look as cool if he was surrounded by children.

However, Chris agreed so that Emily wouldn't be vexed.

After discussing this matter, Emily went to work. Louise also went home. Her family must be worried about her because she didn't go home last night. Moreover, she wanted to talk to her family.

Emily didn't go directly to the company after leaving the house. She came to a very private coffee shop.

Ten minutes later, a man walked into the coffee shop and sat opposite Emily.

It was Andrew, Bennett's former secretary. Now, Andrew was Emily's subordinate.

They had arranged to meet here.

With a new job, Andrew became the clean and tidy secretary he used to be. His mental state was much better than when Emily had met him before.

"Good morning, Andrew. You look good," Emily said with a smile. Meeting someone related to Bennett was a kind of consolation for her.

"Emily, I got something regarding the hospital," Andrew smiled and nodded.

The job Emily gave him was to investigate the private hospital that Bennett stayed in before. She wanted to find clues from it.

"What is it?" Emily asked softly, trying not to sound too excited.

"There are a lot of people from upper-class families in that private hospital, so the management is very strict. There are very few things we can find now, yet everything is normal, judging from the medical records and diagnoses I got." Andrew handed the copies of the hospital's medical records to Emily.

Emily took the copies and read them carefully. These were the few things that she could get related to Bennett now.

After a while, she put down the medical records.

"These are the same as what the Norris family found out." Emily was prepared for this result.

She had already asked Louise to help her investigate, but Louise was too eye-catching. Laura knew about Emily's relationship with Louise, so Laura wouldn't ignore Louise's actions. Therefore, Emily decided to ask Andrew to find someone to investigate secretly. Emily didn't expect Laura to be so cautious. Emily could only get the same results.

"Shall we continue to investigate the hospital?" Andrew asked.

"No need. These medical records seem normal. If we continue to investigate, it will alarm the hospital and Laura." Emily frowned. She knew that things wouldn't go so smoothly, yet when the results came out, she felt annoyed.

Andrew wanted to help Emily. He tried hard to recall what had happened after Bennett was hospitalized. However, Andrew was already threatened at that time. Moreover, Ash and Laura took the opportunity to pick on Andrew and drove him away from Bennett. At that time, Andrew was busy taking care of himself. Therefore, he was clueless.

"Don't worry. I'm not surprised by this result. I just want to double-check it. It seems that our enemy is very cunning." Emily comforted Andrew.

Andrew nodded. He shouldn't be so anxious.

"Yet I found something interesting." Andrew put his coffee cup down and thought of something else.

"What is it?" Emily was curious.

"After I joined the branch company, I heard some rumors about the previous secretary. I investigated him. It turned out that the former secretary didn't get the job through official recruitment channels. He is very ordinary, but he has an elder brother who is an idle hoodlum. Laura personally arranged for him to join the branch company. After he came, he didn't do anything or go to work like others," Andrew said.

"Laura won't do anything without benefits. She gave a job to an ordinary person who couldn't even take on the job of a secretary. What could she get from him?" Emily said in a small voice, sorting out her thoughts.

  A hoodlum?

Emily remembered that Rose had hired people several times to attack her. Many of them were hoodlums.

"Yet before you came, Laura fired him," Andrew said.

"It seems like Laura really wants to get rid of me. No wonder I fell for her trap years ago," Emily said self-mockingly. The stronger her enemy was, the more persevered she had to be.

She was no longer the woman from five years ago. She returned as if she was reborn. She wanted to avenge Bennett and the two children.
