Kara.
The way she heard his voice in her head was all too real. It was something she often dreamed of, something she loved. When her mind was consumed by darker thoughts, James Dray’s voice was always a welcome interruption.
My love.
She opened her eyes, the air around her face cool but the bed and its thick covers cozy and comforting.
Feeling the movement at the end of the four-poster bed of luxury, she saw James, sitting and tying the laces on his boots.
“Morning.” He hadn’t even looked at her yet but she figured her waking wasn’t too subtle either.
“You’re dressed?” She huffed.
He finished and stood. “Yes.” Turning to her, his face remained in one indecipherable expression and she couldn’t grasp what emotion that was. “We’re going for that walk.”
“God…” She mumbled and threw the covers over her head. “Have fun by yourself.”
“You’re coming.”
“This is like the nicest bed ever, I refuse to leave it,” she mumbled beneath the covers.
He pulled them back with some annoyance. “Now, Kara.”
She wasn’t sure how, but she got herself up and out from under the luxury bedding. Her feet hit the cold wood floors and she swiftly pulled them back up. “It’s freezing in here.”
He brought her bag to the bed and dropped it at her feet, looking through the clothes and finding her some.
Kara stared at him and his pushiness. “I can dress myself.”
He paused and looked up to her. “Then do it, please.”
She wrinkled her nose at him and got up as he walked across the room to a standing dresser and opened the top drawer.
“Merry Christmas to you too,” she muttered.
Grumbling and pouting, she fished out a pair of jeans and a dark knit sweater and threw together the outfit, knowing she looked anything but together.
James fiddled with his phone as he waited.
She winced. “I need a bathroom first.”
He nodded and walked towards the door of the room, leading her with him.
The halls were still dark and silent.
“What time is it?” She wrapped her arms around herself from the cold.
“Six thirty.”
“Oh my god.” She grumbled as she went, rolling her eyes. “Your need to exercise in the early morning confuses me.”
“Hush, you don’t want to wake anyone.”
“Why not?’ she shot “Why don’t we take everyone on the walk?”
“Oh, you wouldn’t want that.” He stood near a door before the stairs and she came to a halt. “You wanted a toilet, right?”
“Thanks.” She bustled inside the exquisite, antique furnished washroom, returning minutes later, where he still stood in the same place.
“Coats then.” He led the way.
In what seemed like a few short moments, James had her out the back of Blackwell and into the brisk conditions.
With the sun barely over the horizon, she tucked her chin into the scarf to fight the cold. “It’s so fucking cold, James! Seriously!”
He took her bare hand in his and led her down the icey, snowy steps to the gardens below.
She clung to him, not wanting to slip. The path at the bottom had several options but he went for the manicured maze of bushes. As the early morning air crystalized around them, her mind was taken from the topic of general cold to the beauty surrounding her. Never in her life had she witnessed such a place as Blackwell Manor.
They ducked through an overhang of large enchanting trees that opened up into the English countryside. It was a view so elegant and superior; she could only stare at it.
“I’d like to be honest…”
Still stunned by the beauty surrounding them, she didn’t look away. “Okay.”
He wasn’t enamoured with the view but solely focused on her. When his mouth opened to speak—nothing came out.
She turned to him with her clattering teeth. “What is it, James?”
He broke from the pressure. “I need you. I’m not sure if you understand how much, but I do and I suppose, I wanted to know I could make you happy, before this was added in. My family and my inheritance. This is Blackwell,” he said to her. “Everything and anything that’s important to me has happened here.”
She looked back out to the snow and silence. “I can only imagine.” Her voice broke from the cold.
“I want to add this, as well.” His grip on her shifted and it made her look back to him as he settled on one knee in the snow.
“W-what are you doing?” she got out in a croak. Her hand in his was cool and trembling as the snow melted against their grip.
His expression only wavered a moment before he lifted his free hand to reveal something possibly more beautiful than Blackwell Manor; an oval cut diamond, inlaid amongst a white gold band of more delicate diamonds.
“I am asking you to marry me.” He answered her question, losing most of his natural demeanour to what seemed like actual nerves.
She stared at the ring in his hand, the entirety of it was breathtaking. She couldn’t have chosen a ring that beautiful, not by a long shot.
“Oh…” Her ability to talk had been stripped from her but this time not from the cold. “It’s…”
He waited. “Should I rephrase?”
“N-no.” She choked on emotion. “I get it.”
“So, what is your decision, regarding the ring and I?”
For the first time in what seemed like forever, she looked to him. If apprehension could be a condition, James Dray had fallen victim to it.
Say it, look at him and say it. She mustered the word he wanted to hear. “Y-yes.”
Grabbing her wrist, he slipped the diamond over her designated shaking finger. It fit, and well too. He studied it on her. “It looks nice on you.” Allowing her to take her hand back, he dropped his contact and stood.
She kept her fingers extended, looking over the beautiful ring, something she never imagined she would ever be given and by him too.
“It’s really beautiful.”
He tilted her chin to look at him. “Yes, you are.”
She blinked through the freezing air, her heart thumping away as he shifted closer.
“I want you to know, you’ve just made me very happy.”
Her chest swelled with every emotion possible.
He continued. “Thank you, for not breaking my heart.”
“I could never do that,” she breathed.
He moved in towards her. “Then forgive me, if I’ve ever done it to you.” He was talking about before, before this, before them, four years of before.
“I can’t break something I don’t own,” she said.
“What do you mean?”
She took an excruciating breath into her lungs to tell him her darkest thoughts. “I think my heart has always belonged to you. Even when I wanted it to stop keeping me alive, it didn’t stop.”
He kissed her, crushing his mouth against her cold lips. His hands took her cheeks, pulling her, cementing a claim of some kind over her she’d never felt before.
Their mouths parted and he ran his nose along hers with his eyes still shut.
She smiled. “You’re sure you want to marry me though?”
“I wouldn’t have been nervous if I didn’t mean it.”
“You were a bit weird this morning.”
“Terribly weird,” he agreed, “I got up at five this morning and stared at that ring for most of the time.”
“Were you on the fence?”
“No. I knew I was making the right choice. I just didn’t want to wait to get you out here.”
She laughed. “You almost didn’t get me out here.”
“Exactly,” he muttered.
Her hand on him clenched, and the feeling of the ring on her cool skin made her burst with excitement.
“You make me excited and nervous at the same time. I think you may be the only one capable of it too.” He kissed her once more. “Should we make our way back?”
“I’m a little cold.” However, his close stance was helping combat that.
He took her newly frosted hand and kissed her fingers.
Becoming entranced by his mouth and the ring so very close to it, she guessed she was close to waking up back in her dingy bedroom in Virginia. Even if she did, at least she’d seen this through.
Engaged to none other than James Dray.
He slipped her coat off her shoulders and waited for her to hand him her scarf.
“That smells good.” Kara took in the smell of breakfast now filling the home.
He hung her coat up. “Berta is an excellent chef; it’ll be a shame when she retires.”
Kara watched him, glancing over her shoulder. “How long has she worked here?”
“Sixteen years?” He said, “You’d have to ask her but a good deal of time. We’re not fond of changes in staff.”
She wrinkled her nose. “Why not?”
“Safety.”
What is it with him and safety? She watched him as he shrugged off his coat and hung it up.
“Happy Christmas!” Becky walked past them, yawning, but she paused. “Wait, where have you been?”
“We took a walk.” James came to Kara’s side, taking her left hand and tucking it against his side.
Becky lifted an eyebrow. “That was adventurous of you.”
“The view was nice.” Kara tried to add a level of normalcy to their excursion.
Becky nodded. “No doubt. Well, I’m famished, going to eat.” She headed towards the kitchen and Kara pulled him back before he could follow.
“Should I take it off?” she said quickly.
“You better not.”
Her heart sped. “So, you want them all to see the ring?”
“I will tell them before I tell them you’re pregnant,” he clarified.
“Jesus… maybe don’t?” She gripped his bicep out of desperation.
“What are you so afraid of?” he asked her in a gentle tone.
“I’m just overwhelmed.” She tried her best not to break into tears.
He stepped into her and kissed her forehead, muttering in a low voice, “something has to be said, you’re already starting to show.”
She put a hand to her stomach to check. Her swollen abdomen did nothing to help her case against it and she decided he might be right.
“I’ve made up my mind, love.” He tugged her into the kitchen at his side, not giving her a chance at another protest.
The table hosted everyone in the house. Sitting, eating and having their morning tea. Millie was the first to look up at their entrance. Kara sniffed from her cold nose. She then became self-conscious of her hair, her probably blotchy face.
“Well, you both look positively frozen.”
Becky walked by with a plate of breakfast, smiling at them. “They took a walk.”
“Why ever would you do that?” Garrett laughed. “It’s freezing out there.”
James shifted, waiting only for a few seconds to pass. “Kara’s agreed to marry me.”
Becky thumped down into her seat to the sound of silverware clanking against China all around the room. They became the intense focus of six sets of eyes and Kara really did feel frozen from that.
“Way to be a bloody wall, James.” Sophie moved around him from behind, and stopped once she saw everyone staring at her brother. “What’s wrong?” She spun to them.
Seven, Kara corrected. Seven sets of eyes now.
“Let me see!” Becky flung forward off her chair for Kara’s hand, making it there in record time. Kara lifted it but Becky did the rest. “It’s gorgeous!” Her eyes went to James. “Wow. Who designed it?”
James lifted an eyebrow. “Graff.”
Becky let out a noise and looked back down to it. “Oh god, that’s why it’s so beautiful…”
Kara’s chest tightened when she realized Becky knew the name and she had no idea what it even meant.
“What?” Sophie said from behind Becky. “You can’t be serious?”
“Very serious.” James took Kara’s elbow.
“You’re so lucky,” Becky whispered to her, stepping back.
He led her over to a well laid out breakfast with plenty of options. He handed her a plate and though she knew what to do with it, the intense kitchen had her wanting to run.
This is horrible. They hate me. Kara didn’t move as James dished out his meal, looking composed and unbothered, and she had no idea how he did it.
Sophie came to her side. “Well, Merry Christmas, you must be thrilled.”
Kara swallowed and stepped back, the cold shoulder couldn’t have been shoved at her any closer.
“Have you lost your mind, brother?” Sophie hissed at him as she moved around them to pick up a plate for breakfast.
James grunted but never actually replied.
Kara thought she might pass out and she came close as her vision blurred.
James took her arm. “Are you not hungry?”
“Not really.” She grabbed a breakfast bread and turned to him. “I’m good with this.”
His eyes paused on the lack of food on her plate. “Come, sit.”
She followed him over to the table, and Rose took her hand before she could take a seat. The woman studied the diamond and band.
“It’s a lovely ring. How could you possibly say no to my grandson?” She smiled at her and though Kara wanted to speak, she wasn’t sure how to reply. Even if he’d given her nothing and asked her to marry him—she would have said yes even then. Afterall, it was James Dray, the only boy she’d ever loved, ever thought about and ever dreamed about.
James sat next to Andrew and his cousin leaned into him. “Are you mental? She’s American.”
Kara shut her eyes as she heard the words come out of Andrew’s mouth. Everyone must have been thinking about it, only he was brave enough to say it.
“Why don’t you all say how you really feel?” James snapped.
Kara sat, saying a quick thanks to Rose. She didn’t dare look away from her bread as she was sure she’d be subjected to the heated glares of Millie and Sophie, possibly more.
Millie glared at him. “I’m sure you’ll excuse our shock.”
“I will.” James nodded. “Can I have the salt?”
Garrett picked it up and handed it to him.
He doused his breakfast with a shake and put it back down. “Also seems like as good a time as any to add that Kara’s pregnant.”
Sophie spat her mouthful of tea across the table, all the way to Kara’s bread as she was in the middle of tearing it apart.
If they’d been dead silent before, now was worse. James knew how to shut up a room to the point of no return.
“Garrett,” Millie snapped and the man was up in an instant, walking around the table to James and grabbing his shoulder.
“Get up,” Garrett ordered.
James rolled his eyes. “Must I?”
“Now.”
James stood, walking out of the kitchen with his uncle at his heels.
Kara dropped her bread on her plate and put her hands in her lap.
Rose was the first to break the silence. “Well, I knew that one.” Smiling at Kara, she winked.
Millie looked to her mother in law. “What?”
“Yes.” Rose nodded. “Look at her complexion, how much she ate last night and her small little belly. You’re much too tiny to hide a baby, Kara.”
Kara took in a sharp breath, wincing.
“Very exciting,” Rose finished, reaching over to pat Kara’s shoulder.
“It’s not exciting, Rose, it’s irresponsible,” Millie shot across the oak table. “James knows better.”
“Oh, Millie.” Rose brushed her off with a gesture. “He’s not an idiot.”
“I could argue that.” Andrew laughed and Kara held back her want to snap, he of all people didn’t have a right to comment on her pregnancy she felt.
“Andrew,” Becky shot him her best death-glare and it shut him up.
Kara felt like she should have been hauled off to be yelled at, or at least joined James for his lashing.
“How far along are you?” Millie snapped.
Kara forced herself to look up. “Thirteen… almost fourteen weeks.”
“For god’s sake,” Millie cursed. “This is ridiculous. Does anyone else think this ridiculous?”
Sophie let out a smile. She didn’t need to say anything aloud to show her agreement.
Kara held her tears, but the dread she felt was almost enough to make her wish for some oxy or valium or any drug to numb her out right then and there. She looked at her hand and stared at the large diamond that caught every bit of light around it.
It seemed like an eternity, waiting for James to return, not saying anything, not being able to breathe to the point she had to remind herself to do it. When finally, he returned, sitting back down next to her, Garrett not far behind.
Millie stared at them both. “I suspect that went well?”
Garrett looked annoyed as he sat. “As well as anything goes with him ever.”
Millie rolled her eyes. “James…”
“My breakfast is cold,” He snapped, just as put off as the rest of them.
“You do realize you’re twenty-three?” Sophie wiggled her comment in.
“I do, yes,” he snapped.
“I don’t even have children and I’m four years older than you…”
“Mm.” James cut up something on his plate. “That’s because you’re dating a forty-year old man, who has two children with other women and when he’s been working too much to show you a good time, just buys you pretty things to stand on his arm for the night.”
Sophie’s face got red. “Why are you such a cock, James?”
“Is that not accurate, sister?” He snapped at her. “Where is he anyway? With his other girlfriend?”
“He’s with his kids!” She let out a frustrated growl. “Don’t deflect this onto me. Mum and Dad would be so disappointed in you right now—”
“That’s quite enough,” Rose said loudly, breaking apart the argument. “It’s Christmas.”
Sophie sat back in her chair and crossed her arms over her chest.
The silence killed Kara and she got up. Walking away from the dreaded table for the washroom down the hall. She wanted to run but she didn’t dare.
“Kara.”
James was behind her and she turned, stopping before she opened the bathroom door. “Just leave me alone…”
“Kara, no,” he grabbed the door before she shut it.
“Don’t do this for me.” Kara teared up as it all boiled over. “Don’t throw your life away like this for me.”
He swallowed as his emotion broke his features. “What?”
“They…” Kara choked. “They expect so much from you and I’m not part of that. Okay?”
“Jesus Christ!” James clenched his jaw. “I don’t care what they expect from me!”
“You should…”
He took her elbow and enclosed them in the washroom. “I can’t let you go, so don’t go there.”
“One day you might want to let me go though—”
“I can assure you, I will never want that.”
She cried, catching a glimpse of herself in the mirror. “Everyone sees the same thing when they look at us though.”
“I don’t care what they see.”
“That’s what I don’t understand! Look at you…” She stared at his reflection in the mirror and whispered, “I’m just a Demon Hunter.”
“Hush.” He wrapped his arms around her shoulders as he held her from behind. The desperation of his comfort brought her some as well. “I asked you to marry me. I got down on one knee and you said yes. You could have said no but you didn’t because you want to be with me as much as I want to be with you. That’s something I’m one hundred percent sure of.”
“How can you be though?”
“I just am and I need you to stand with me through this.”
She swallowed as she fought her tears.
“To give my actions and choices meaning. Do you understand?”
She nodded, finding so much comfort in his words and the simple embrace they shared.
“If you’re ever going to do me one favour, my love, I would ask that you trust me. Trust that I will always put you and our children above all else. Sometimes it may seem confusing but everything I do is because you come first. You’re what I’ll defend, until the day I die.”
She stared up at him, thinking that if words and speech could be stripped from a person, then James Dray was powerful enough to do it. She would never, in a thousand years, know what to say back to him but it was enough.
It was a thousand times enough for her.
Kara shivered as James slammed the door behind her, locking the deadbolt and sliding the chain into place. She shook her coat off, the snow from her shoulders falling to the wood floors.
“It’s freezing.” She wanted to put her coat back on.
James dropped their bags to the side and took her coat to hang up in the closet.
She reached for the lights but they didn’t come on when she flicked the switch. “The power is out?”
“Maybe from all the snow.” He walked past her into the kitchen and she followed right behind him, not exactly liking the eeriness of the dark and cold around her.
He opened a cupboard and searched, then went to another.
“What are you looking for?” she asked.
“Well, there must be a candle somewhere.”
“Oh!” Kara nodded and dove for a drawer near him. “There’s these two.” She pulled them out and showed him the rather unattractive candle sticks.
“Good enough.” He grabbed them as Kara offered a small box of pub-matches to him.
“Carter is full of useless junk. I save it.” She smiled.
He grunted and lit them, watching the flame for a few moments.
She shivered again. “They must have been out for a while now. It’s freezing.”
“I’ll go talk to Elizabeth. She’ll know how long they’ve been out for.” He walked around her and disappeared down the hall, on his mission to find the landlord of the building.
She picked up one of the candles and made her way back into the hall and down to their room, which was even colder, darker and spookier.
Walking to her closet, she tried to ignore the feeling of being watched and found a hoodie that had once belonged to James, that she promptly went to pull over her head. The apartment just didn’t compare to Blackwell and with the power out, it rattled her nerves.
“It’s been out since this morning.”
“Oh my god!” She jumped around to find him standing in front of her in the closet door frame. “I didn’t even hear you walk up.”
“That was very un-supernatural of you.”
She rolled her eyes. “Ha. Ha.”
A smile got to him as she tugged the large black sweatshirt over herself. “I’ve bought you all these new clothes and you still insist on wearing my clothes?”
She popped her head through the hoodie and smiled, rearranging her hair around her face. “It’s comfy.”
“Mm.” He didn’t look impressed.
She looked down at the faded football crested sweater and pointed to his last name along it. “Maybe one day I’ll be able to sell it online for tons of money!”
“God, no, who would want that?”
“All your fan-girls.” She said, “It even smells like you…” She sniffed it to make her point clearer.
He sat on the bed and looked up to her, amused. “I haven’t worn that since you took it, love and that was months ago.”
Kara shrugged. “Still smells like you.”
“I hope I don’t smell like dirty laundry normally,” he commented and turned off the screen of his phone to look at her.
“Oh, you’re so funny, Mr. Dray.” Her voice dripped with sarcasm. “I don’t think you deserve your Christmas present.”
“No, I definitely don’t but let me see it anyway.”
“Ugh. You’re really convincing, don’t try harder you might hurt yourself.” She took his phone from beside him on the bed for light, knowing the windows wouldn’t provide her enough in the closet. On her small mission to find his present she’d spent weeks stumped on before coming up with the idea, he waited while she went about retrieving a large thin cardboard box from behind some hanging coats. She reappeared with it, awkwardly carting it over for him.
“That’s large, what is it?”
She placed it to lean up against his knee. “Don’t ask dumb questions, open it.”
He arched his brow. “That was very lippy of you, my love.”
She giggled. “Shut up, idiot.”
“What did you call me?” He looked up to her, his hand pausing on the gift and waited for her reply, but she only smiled, wrapped up in the game. “If you do that again, I’ll give you something else to call me.”
“Yeah, what?” She challenged with a hand on her hip. “Jimmy?”
“Definitely not that, and now you need a spank.” He put the present aside and took her around the waist as she attempted to move away with a laugh.
“James, stop! Your present—”
“I’ll get to it.” He put her to her stomach, held her down with one arm and spanked her, once, twice, three times.
She gasped from the sting as he removed his hold on her. Her ass plain hurt but she kept her face buried in the bed for other reasons and that was to hide her smile from him. “You didn’t really do that, did you?”
He moved over her on the bed and pushed her to her back. “I did and I’ll do it again if you call me an idiot or any other name, including Jimmy, I hate that bloody nickname…”
She watched him get grumpy above her and it made her smile with some excitement as she attempted to ignore the throbbing between her thighs.
“Understood?” He grunted.
“Yes…” She nodded through the burn in her face.
“Try… Yes, sir,” he corrected.
“Yes, sir,” she giggled.
“That’s right.” He got off her, picking up the present finally and she rolled lazily back up onto her stinging bottom. She watched him, trying to ignore how damp her underwear had gotten.
“It’s not expensive…” She tried in vain to shake herself out of the arousal, then gave up, rubbing her thighs together to allow herself the tingle.
“Oh well, I’ll hate it then.” He pulled it apart the box and tore back the last bit of tissue paper, revealing the item. His silence made her uncomfortable and she was desperate to break the tension.
“It’s you.” She stared at the gift, he looked perfect in it too, which is what she’d loved about the picture. “Playing soccer.”
He inhaled but she didn’t hear the exhale.
“I thought you might like it.” Her heart thudded. “You know, it’s from your first game, ironically, the one where I cheered for the wrong team… by accident.”
“Yes.” He nodded. “It’s great.”
Kara couldn’t place his emotion. “Well, I just thought you might—I’m just proud of you, I guess.”
He winced and kept his eyes on it.
“Sorry, it’s not a car.”
“Right,” he chuckled. “You’ve probably outdone yourself.”
Kara smiled and lifted her left hand. “That is so not true. Look at this thing.”
“Likely better.” He looked back down it.
She felt her insides warm when she saw that he liked it and she leaned into him, kissing his cheek. “Merry Christmas, James.”
“Thank you.” He stood and walked his present to his dresser, where he let it rest against the wall on display. “Makes me look like I know what I’m doing.”
“Pretty sure, that’s because you do.” Kara smiled, “I was inspired though.”
“From what?” He stopped right in front of her. Her eyes had nowhere else to fall but to his belt and pants.
She shrugged through her excited gulp. “Seeing you actually play a few weeks ago. You’re so… good.”
His finger under her chin lifted her eyes to his. “Show me how good.”
“How do you want me to do that?”
“Get on your knees.” He held out his hand for her to take.
She looked up at him in surprise. “My knees?”
“Mm.” He helped her down on the floor and took her cheek. “Look at me.”
Her heart raced as her eyes met his and he bent down to kiss her.
“How do you feel about this?”
“Fine, I’m good.” Her heart thumped from adrenaline.
“You did good last night, you did everything I said. Did you like it?”
She nodded as he kissed her once more.
“Good.” He stood back up and started to undo his belt, so he could pull his shirt from his pants.
Her eyes moved to his pressing erection on the other side of his fitted trousers and it made her mouth water. Of all the pants to be wearing, those were her favourite on him. Cut, styled, his cock always slightly visible if she really looked.
He gave her a small smile of reassurance and then began to undo the buttons on his white dress shirt. One at a time, she stayed focused on how each one revealed a few more inches of his chest and abdomen.
“You’re so tall…” she breathed.
He chuckled. “Yes, I bet six foot four looks a little further away from that position.”
Kara felt a tinge of sprightliness and bit his leg playfully but he didn’t flinch away like she expected.
“You can take my shoes off for that.”
Her cheeks heated. “James.”
He tapped her knee with the toe of his leather oxford and she felt the last dry bits of her underwear wet. Her fingers went to the string lace on his left foot and pulled, and then the next shoe. All the while her heart pumped adrenaline through her like nothing she’d ever experienced. This wasn’t just sex, this was new… this was exciting.
“Is this some twisted version of foreplay?” She took the back of one shoe and he slipped his black socked foot out with her help. Then the other. She put the dark leather shoes off to the side for him.
“Do you like it?” He pulled the shirt from his pants before slipping it down his arms. Even with the little bit of light from the windows and the fading sun, she could see his amusement.
She bit her bottom lip and decided to just be honest. “I so want you.”
“Sounds like you’re enjoying it.”
“It was the spank,” she admitted.
He laughed. “Of course it was.”
Their eyes met and her smile increased. “What’s next?”
He undid his pants. “Open your pretty little mouth for me.”
As soon as he let down his pants, she got eager to please him and did what he said, taking his entire cock into her mouth and down her throat. She put so much of him inside her mouth that he sucked up a breath, put his hand to her head and kept her there.
He let her go and she pulled off, gasping for air. Never in her life had she imagined doing the things she did for him so willingly and enjoying every second of it all. She wiped at her chin to stop the salvia and looked up at him.
“That’s a bloody talent, I hope you know.”
“Is it?” She smiled at him as his hand forced her jaw back open.
“Put your tongue out.”
Her jaw widened and she stuck her tongue out for him to slip his cock down her throat again, this time with a little less amperage to inhale it.
“That’s it,” he encouraged.
Her eyes stayed on his as she did all he said to, followed every ask of her. She sucked, swallowed, gagged and choked until he pulled her off.
“Give me a moment,” he couldn’t help his laugh.
Kara giggled and settled back on her knees. “Did you get too excited?”
“About to finish up like a thirteen-year-old boy. Here…” He held out his hand for her.
She smiled, taking his aid in standing and stood against him, as he stepped out of his dress pants around his ankles. He took the sweatshirt over her head and sat her down on the bed, moving over the top of her and sending her flat to her back.
“What else is there to do without power?”
She giggled. “Yeah, I know, what better way to pass the time?”
“Mm. Exactly.” He tucked her neat and close into him. “You can be as loud as you like now, love.”
“Shh… Someone might hear you spanking me, Mr. Dray,” she teased him.
He nipped at her neck, taking a savouring bite of her till she moaned back in response. “How’s your bottom feel?”
She reddened as the next words left her mouth, “I think… I need another, sir.”
The growl from his throat made her all kinds of excited.
“I agree. Without your pants this time.” He stripped her leggings off and she moved onto her stomach willingly, waiting for the sting of his palm on her.
As soon as it came, she moaned and he bit into her bare bottom with his teeth. “Again…” She heard him growl and she waited for it, so completely ready to be taken.
“That’s enough for now.” He took her from behind, making her moan so loud she was thankful the apartment was empty so she could enjoy the rest of Christmas with just him.
