AVA’S POV
The woman's question echoed in my head as Sophie and I drove back to campus in complete silence.
How desperate was I? Desperate enough to sell the one thing I'd never thought I'd put a price on, apparently.
My phone buzzed with another text from Elise: Ava, they're getting impatient. I don't know how much longer I can hide.
That decided it.
"I'm going to do it," I said quietly.
Sophie's hands tightened on the steering wheel. "Are you sure? Like, really sure? Because once you—"
"I know." I cut her off before she could finish. "I know I can't take it back."
When we got back to our dorm, Sophie hugged me tight. "I'll be here if you need me, okay? Whatever you decide."
I nodded and went straight to my laptop. The woman had given me a business card before we left – thick, expensive paper with just an email address embossed in gold letters. No name, no company, just: [email protected].
I stared at the blank email for twenty minutes before I finally started typing.
I would like to inquire about your services. I was referred by Emma through my friend Sophie. I need $20,000 by this weekend.
I hit send before I could change my mind.
The reply came back within an hour.
Thank you for your inquiry. Based on your referral source, you will be contacted shortly with next steps. Please be prepared to provide verification of identity and undergo a brief screening process.
Regards, L.M.
Twenty minutes later, my phone rang. Unknown number.
"Hello?"
"Is this Ava Moreau?" The voice was crisp, professional, female.
"Yes."
"This is regarding your inquiry. I'm going to send you a secure link to complete an application. The process is completely confidential, but I need to warn you that once you submit, there's no backing out. Are you prepared to proceed?"
My mouth felt like cotton. "Yes."
"Good. Check your email in five minutes."
The link arrived exactly five minutes later. It led to a website that looked like it could have been for any upscale service – clean design, elegant fonts, no obvious indication of what it actually was. At the top was a form titled "Exclusive Services Application."
The first section was basic information. Name, age, contact details, emergency contact. I hesitated on the last one, then put down Sophie's information.
The second section was more personal. Height, weight, hair color, eye color. There was even a section asking about my style preferences and whether I had any tattoos or piercings.
Then came the third section, and my stomach dropped.
Personal History and Experience
Are you currently or have you ever been sexually active? (This includes all forms of sexual contact)
I clicked "No."
Are you truly a virgin in all respects? (Please note: verification may be required)
My hands were shaking as I clicked "Yes."
Are you prepared for full sexual access during your contracted time?
I stared at the screen for a long time. This was it. The moment where I either backed out or committed completely. I thought about Elise, scared and hiding from dangerous people because of money she owed.
I clicked "Yes."
Do you understand that this experience cannot be undone and will permanently change your status?
"Yes."
The final section was about logistics. Availability, any hard limits or boundaries, preferences for client age range or physical characteristics. Most of it I left blank – I didn't have the luxury of being picky.
At the very bottom was a paragraph of legal text that basically said I understood I was entering into a binding agreement, that all transactions were final, and that discretion was absolutely mandatory.
I typed my name in the electronic signature box and submitted the form.
The confirmation page was simple: Thank you for your application. You will be contacted within 24 hours regarding next steps.
I closed my laptop and tried to pretend I hadn't just signed up to auction off my virginity to a stranger.
The call came the next morning while I was in my economics class. I stepped out into the hallway to answer.
"Ava? This is L.M. Your application has been reviewed and approved."
My heart started pounding. "Approved?"
"Yes. You'll receive an email shortly with all the details, but I wanted to personally inform you that you've been accepted for our upcoming exclusive event." Her voice was warm but businesslike. "The auction is scheduled for Monday evening. That gives you three days to prepare."
"Three days," I repeated numbly.
"The email will include everything you need to know – location, timing, preparation requirements, and of course, your specific terms and projected compensation range." She paused. "Congratulations, Ava. Based on your profile, we expect significant interest from our clientele."
The line went dead, and I stood in the empty hallway feeling like I was in someone else's life.
The email arrived twenty minutes later. The subject line was simple: Event Confirmation – Exclusive Services.
I opened it with trembling fingers.
Dear Ava,
Thank you for your interest in our exclusive services. We are pleased to confirm your participation in Monday's private event.
Event Details: Date: Monday, 7:00 PM Location: Private residence (address will be provided 24 hours prior) Duration: Full evening (departure Tuesday morning) Dress code: Elegant cocktail attire (will be provided)

Discretely yours, L.M.
I read it three times before it really sank in. Monday. Three days from now and the money would definitely cover what Elise needed, maybe even more.
I hit reply and typed: Confirmed.
Then I called Elise.
"Ava!" Her voice was shaky but relieved. "I was starting to think—"
"I found a way to get the money," I interrupted. "You're going to be okay."
"How? What did you do?"
"Don't worry about it. Just stay safe until Monday night, okay? After that, you can pay them back and this whole nightmare will be over."
"Ava, what did you do?" Her voice was more worried now.
"I love you, Elise. Everything's going to be fine."
I hung up before she could ask any more questions.
