The Ruthless Alpha's Innocent Breeder

Chapter 136

Ch. 136 / 140 Jan 12, 2026

Eero's Perspective

"I had to come here to tell you that dinner is waiting for us," Claudius said while his eyes sharply traced the newly-founded distance between me and Miguel.

"Oh, yes, because we don't have enough omegas around the realm which is why the Alpha picked us himself for dinner," Miguel whispered sarcastically.

"Were you trying to say something, Blackthorn?" Miguel grinned and shook his head.

"Did you hear me say something?" Claudius glared at Miguel even more.

"I was starving, I could eat a whole cow. I hope you prepared a feast for me, Claudius?" Miguel flashed a teasing smile at my mate.

"It's the least you could offer after I did the favor that you asked me years ago."

"Every meal in the realm is considered a feast, but if you're craving for a particular dish that wasn't served at the buffet. You could request that from our private chef. They will accommodate any of your cravings."

"Ah." Miguel clicked his tongue, "A golden luxurious life. We had reasons why we had to move out of this place before, but our days here were a blast too," Miguel reminisced.

Claudius cleared his throat again.

"Where is Perseus? I asked the chef to prepare his favorite dish and dessert."

"About that." I stopped biting my lower lip.

"Your pup is still upset. He said that he is not hungry and that he'd prefer to sleep than have a meal with us."

"But we can't let him not eat anything," Claudius reasoned out.

"You're right, but I don't know what to do with him, Claudius. I'll just tell Edith to spend the night in Perseus's room. In case he gets hungry and decides that he wants to eat something. Edith would be able to serve him." Claudius was silent for a moment.

An incoming footstep made us turn to look behind Claudius.

"Fuck, no, Claudius, no. Stay the hell away from me. I'm going back to Howling Island!" Beta Caspian said to Claudius and turned around so fast. He suddenly stopped on his track and faced the three of us.

"What is going on?" I asked and the question was directed to Caspian and Claudius.

"I know a way to make our pup come out of his room and join us," Claudius said. He looked so proud of his plan while Caspian on the other hand was fed up and already sighing in exhaustion.

"I know a way, I know a way," Caspian mimicked, "But that's it. You know a way and I get to do all the hard work!"

Claudius glared at his best friend. Caspian instantly stops whining.

"All you have to do is take out the materials. The deltas will help you." Claudius looked around and then he pointed at Miguel.

"He will help you."

"Help? What help? I don't even know what you're up to!" Miguel retorted in a loud voice.

"Chill your impatient ass. I'm not yet done talking," Claudius replied.

"They are arguing like an old married couple. You used to be in Miguel's shoes. I won't take it against you if you feel a little jealous," I said to Caspian.

"Did you think that these tents and bonfire would make the pup come out of his room?" Caspian questioned as he chopped the wood that we'd use for the bonfire.

"Perseus heard a hundred camping stories growing up. This is something that he always wanted to experience, but we just can't do before," I answered Caspian while I pierced the marshmallow with a wooden stick and placed them on the already piling-up marshmallow on the table.

"Like father, like son," Caspian whispered.

"You're doing it wrong!" Claudius shouted at Miguel.

"No, your instruction is the one that is wrong, Alpha."

"You are the one who is doing it the wrong way—"

"I read the instruction that came with this tent, and you didn't even touch the goddamn paper. How'd you know how to build this then, tell me?" Miguel said.

Claudius snatched the paper from Miguel. He looked at it for a few seconds and then he quietly started doing what Miguel was doing in the tent earlier.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"Maybe I do need to start feeling threatened by Miguel, you, too. Now they are in each other's throat, but soon you'll see them cuddly and doing the best friend-coded things," Caspian mumbled.

After an hour of arguing and yelling at each other. Miguel and Claudius were finally done with the tent and camping chairs.

"I'll start the bonfire. Miguel will bring the marshmallows and hotdogs here!"

"It's fun to see Claudius doing things that heal his inner child," Caspian commented meaningfully. I took my eyes off my mate who couldn't stop myself from smiling as he watched the fire glow around the woods.

"Like any other young boy. Claudius wanted to do things like this in the past."

"Did you two do it together?" I turned my head at Caspian as I was fully invested in hearing more of the story from Claudius's childhood.

"I always asked him to go on a camp with me."

"The two of you never gone camping?" I asked.

"No. Claudius was busy training himself and building our pack from scratch. He couldn't do what a normal pup does. It's a luxury that he can't afford."

Tears welled up in my eyes. I stood up from the camping chair and realized that I was already hugging him.

"You sacrificed a lot to go back to Regulus. To claim what was taken from your father," I said to him. Claudius handed the stick to Miguel and hugged me back.

"Mate, why are we suddenly talking about this? Why are you getting emotional all of a sudden?" I sniffed, but even when I was trying to control my emotions tears kept coming out of my eyes.

"I'll let you have it."

"Let me have what?"

"I'll be just your Luna Queen, and help you rule the pack. You sacrificed a lot for this, to be the Alpha King. Promise me that you'll be a good Alpha King. That's all that I want, then I'll be at peace." Claudius cupped my cheeks.

"With you by my side, I can never not be a good Alpha King, Eero."
