We took the available flight to Miami and lodged at the guest rooms available there, Herzl took the room next to ours, that way we could be certain of his well being.
"What do you think about this place, do you like it?" Ryan asked while I was so engulfed unpacking as he wrapped me in his arm from behind and I smiled.
"Did you just ask me if I like this place, have you seen our son's face, he so thrilled and there is no one that wouldn't love it here, it is so amazing and I wish that we could do this often."
"We definitely will, you deserve to be happy and from now on, I will try my best to make you the happiest that you can be."
"Sure" I replied and kissed him from behind. We got ready and drove over to the market there through a cab.
Walking around the market, I was so thrilled by the hive of activities going on, there was so much color, smells of various variety, vendors were hawking their goods and calling out to passerbys in eccentric mixtures of languages.
I was so intoxicated by the smell of spices hung heavy in the air mingling with the scent of freshly cooked food, with the sounds of chatter and vendors bargaining price.
"Mommy! Daddy! I want this one!!" Herzl called out as he stopped right in front of a toy shop and his finger was pointing at bat man on a bike.
"I want this toy and the other one." He pointed out seeing that he had our attention and I could not help but giggle.
"But Herzl, you have so much toys at home that you barely play with them, what are you going to do with this one?"
"I do not have bat man on my collection, and see Mommy, he has a power bike, it is so cool." He stressed out the last word that Ryan and I could not help but chuckle.
"Come on babe, let just let him have it, besides what is a weekend without gifts?"
"Uhh.. Fine! He can have all he wants." I grunt as Herzl made a first bump in excitement feeling victorious while I watch Ryan went ahead to bargain the price with the vendor. Although it was a local market, and the toys there seem local, but they were strong and unique that it got Herzl so excited.
By the time we got back to the beach, we were so exhausted and went straight to the restaurant at the beach to eat, they had unique menu and the meal was everything that we wanted.
The entire day went by swiftly and herzl wasn't ready to go to bed, but I put him to bed with his blanket rolled over to his chest.
"Please Mommy, can I play a little at the beach?"
"You have been doing that all day long and still going to do that tomorrow, so get some sleep so that you can be bright and active by tomorrow."
"Alright Mommy, but tell me a bedtime story first."
"Which one do you you want me to say to you?" I ask with my hands caressing his curly hair.
"The story of the locked princess and the knight who came to her rescue."
"Of course! It's your favorite."
"Mommy can I ask a question?"
"Uhh... You are going to insist if I say no, so go ahead."
"What happens to us after we go back home, are you finally going to come and be with daddy and I?" His question made me froze for a moment because although everything have been going smoothly, but I haven't brought that up with Ryan.
"Herzl go to bed now, we will talk about that tomorrow, now give mommy a good night kiss."
"Good night mommy, I love you."
"I love you too son." I patted his chest calmly before stepping out of the room and was almost startled seeing Ryan at the door, he immediately tuck me over to his side and kiss me softly.
"What was that for?" I ask as I bit my lips, almost shy.
"My good night kiss, you are a great mom Ciara and thank you so much for coming back into my life."
"Let get out of here else we might prevent him from sleeping." I grab his hand and pulled him away from Herzl doorstep, straight to our own room at the beach, but he did not come inside, he stood right at the door, his eyes piercing at me with a blank expression.
"Why are you standing there, are you not coming to bed?"
"There is a dress in the wardrobe, put it on, there is somewhere that I will like to show you." I narrowed my eyes at him with curiosity and stride to the wardrobe as my eyes almost popped out.
"Wow!!! " I exclaimed and ran my fingers through the white silk dress that had glittering beads around it straps.
"This is so beautiful Ryan, why would you go through so much stress to get me such a lovely dress, I am certain that it must have cost a fortune."
"You deserve it and lots more."
"Thank you so much!!" I drift closer to him and place a kiss on his cheek.
"Get dress Ciara."
"Where are you taking me to?"
"It is a surprise."
"Alright, I love surprises" I replied and stride back to the dresser where I got dress in the white dress that fit perfectly, it was not a surprise that he knew my size, I applied some make up and a red lipgloss to go with it.
Finally I was on my feet and glance at my self in the mirror once more before walking out of the bedroom, but Ryan was no longer there, except for a letter on the bed that says, 'Meet me at the pier ASAP'.
At first I was scared, not knowing where he was or what he had in mind, but I glance through the letter and was certain that this was his hand writing before stepping out of the house.
