"I bared my heart to you, Accalia but yet all you did was hold back", Ethan said disappointedly.
"Who disturbs the peace of this kingdom?",a voice echoed from behind.
Everyone gasped and turned to meet the old Alpha walking towards them. He ignored the looks from the people,who wondered when he had arrived from his trip. Gabriel's father paused and stared hard at Accalia,who was weeping profusely.
"Before my son took over as Alpha,I was the Alpha that accepted Accalia Monae into my pack. When she came in, I sensed she was running from something dangerous and one that carried harm".
"However, I saw her heart and her mind and I knew she was pure. No one should be defined by their pasts,not even Accalia. She has already been initiated into the pack,so the pack would fight to keep her as long as she agrees,she wants to be here",the old Alpha said looking at Accalia.
Accalia nodded vehemently. "I don't want to go back to the life I lived. I hated it, please. I don't want to go back",she said, weeping.
"As it is decreed in the laws of earth, anyone is free to leave a pack or place that holds a threat over their life. If Accalia doesn't want to leave, You slimy greyhound,I order you to leave",the old Alpha roared and changed form immediately, pouncing on the bald headed man ripping his face.
The greyhound-man yelped in pain and gave a loud cry alerting the rogue wolf,who jumped in and changed form to human. Immediately, Accalia saw him,she shook in fear. He was here and her memories flashed at the gruesome treatment he had vetted to her.
The rogue wolf had a large mark on his face and he was tall and had a large body built. He crouched down to where the greyhound-man man lay, breathing heavily from the blow,the old Alpha gave him. The other greyhoundhad scampered away in fear. He was a new recruit.
The rogue wolf rose and eyed Accalia maliciously. He turned to the Alphas who were fully alert and said," I'm not in for a war. All I need is my slave".
"A slave or a victim from your wrongful invasion of our once peaceful land?"Accalia spat in disgust.
"Ahh! She has a tongue now! It's refreshing to see you're no more the timid little girl whose clit was the only perfect thing on your unattractive body. The only thing you knew how to do well was give a good fuck..I must say,I've . missed having my cock in your tiny mouth",the rogue werewolf said with a dry laugh.
"You are a curse and you disgust me with your presence. You.. you took the innocence of every young and beautiful thing you ever came across. I do not regret running from your miserable being. I only feel terrible that you would come here and disturb the peace of a land that has helped more people than you could ever imagine", Accalia said, shaking as she rose to her feet.
"Can I be honest? You claim I'm only good for a fuck,well,how about this?", Accalia said and immediately her eyes turned bright green and her claws grew like talons.
She gave a loud thundering roar and her body was covered in thick white fur, with a black line running down her white back. The whole town gasped in fear at what she had become. Accalia had wolf-changed and she didn't turn to a mere werewolf,she turned to an Omicron wolf.
Omicrons were one of the strongest werewolves in existence. They were rare and were mostly heard in stories. So, everyone awed at the Omicron in front of them. The rogue wolf gasped in fear and the wounded greyhound tried to run off but he was too weak.
Alpha Gabriel and Max changed form too, to join Accalia fight against the rogue wolf but the Omicron roared against them, signaling to them that she didn't want anyone else to join. This was going to be her fight.
The Omicron rushed to the injured greyhound and tore him to pieces. She opened her senses and she could feel the heartbeat of the other greyhound who was hiding in the wounds. In haste,she jumped on the tall trees and fished out the greyhound and ravaged him completely.
When she had finished,she stared at the rogue wolf from a distance and her green eyes shone through the dark. With calculated steps,she walked to where he stood and charged at him.
The entire town watched in horror as the rogue wolf and the Omicron engaged. After several tosses and struggles,the Omicron locked her teeth into the neck of the rogue wolf and tore it off his neck. The Omicron breathed hard as it had the head of the rogue wolf in her mouth,and blood stains everywhere.
She looked up to see the many faces staring back at her and finally fell to the ground weak. An Omicron was fierce and could take an entire army but each time the Omicron changed,they had a risk of being extremely weak and out of breath. That was why they rarely changed. It came with sacrifices.
If an Omicron wasn't trained to control their powers,it could consume them. And for Accalia,she had known she was different but she never changed. She feared what would become of her if she couldn't control herself.
As she fell to the ground, Accalia changed back to human and blood covered her face. Helen, Rachel and Ethan rushed to her and they felt her breath,but they couldn't feel anything. Her pulse went low and could barely be heard.
"Quick! Get her to the Gammas", Alpha Gabriel shouted.
Everyone rushed to get Accalia some care. Within a short while,she was freezing and some flaky stuff like ice appeared on her skin and at the same time,she began to convulse like she was on fire.
An Omicron was sometimes termed the strongest yet it also faced high risks. Helen held on to Accalia and was moved to tears at the tough times Accalia had gone through. She felt miserable that Accalia couldn't confide in anyone of the things she went through.
"How long did she know that she wasn't a mere werewolf", Helen thought. She looked at Ethan who looked like he was about to lose the only woman he had ever loved.
The Gammas placed Accalia in the inner circle and stripped her off her clothes. Alpha Gabriel went out to address his people, who feared if Accalia was okay. Even though the greyhound and the rogue wolf traced Accalia to their pack,they didn't hate her.
So many people had few encounters with Accalia and in the few months of her stay with them,she was the kindest person they had met. Her smiles and laughs comforted anyone in despair.
Accalia's landlady,Lady Belle cried softly at the condition Accalia was in. Comforting her was Vera, Eunice's mother. The trio hugged themselves, awaiting to hear about Accalia's health. Alpha Gabriel stepped out and met inquisitive faces.
"It's been a long and stressful night, we'd agree. We planned for fun to celebrate my wife, your Luna's birthday but found ourselves in this. However,we all have seen the events that took place this evening".
"For a fact,the rogue wolf rumored to have ravaged several kingdoms has met its end today, through the Omicron", Alpha Gabriel said calmly.
"For the young man that was earlier attacked, he's been treated and he's stable. The poison from the greyhound's bite has been removed and he's begun healing. Certainly, he'll be going home to rest soon",the Alpha said and heard some sighs of relief from the pack.
"How about Accalia?", Eunice said shyly.
"I can not say,I'm afraid. We know the facts about the Omicron,so we'll be focusing our attention and time to revive her. But please,I'll advise everyone to go home and get some rest,he ended and walked out.
Once the Alpha spoke,no one disobeyed. The people began to file out solemnly to their different homes. One of the people was Penney. She looked remorseful and tried to walk to her friends but none paid attention to her.
Somehow,she found out that people pitied Accalia and were angry that she would betray a pack member by conniving with a greyhound. The sky thundered and rain dropped, washing the blood away as Penney walked alone,drenched in rain, crying home.
