Skylar's gaze shot up to stare into Leon's face, searching for signs of a joke but seeing the hard glare in there she couldn't help shivering in fear. What if he's not joking? What if he's going to force her to marry him? Will she be able to leave with him? What about Vino? And her baby, will she ever forgive her weak mother.
"No, I can't let him control me the second time. Back then I was naive and alone but now, I'm no longer alone. I have a man who loves and cares for me and a baby who deserves her father's love. I need to be strong for both of them" Skylar chanted in her mind as she watched Vino call instructions to Ty before turning to drag her out of her mother's home.
Skylar paused as she looked around the room, she was scared, she couldn't possibly leave like this without leaving any clue for her mom or Vino.
Leon stopped and turned to glare at Skylar in anger. He had been pulling her to himself but this stupid woman wouldn't budge "What do you think you're doing?" He shouted, his voice thundering across the room to a shivering Skylar who had bowed her head in fear.
"I __ I___" Skylar stammered, her lips quivering as she struggled to form words together.
"What? ___" Leon shouted again as his eyes found the gold watch in his hands. He was running late for his return flight. Moreover, he couldn't have Skylar's mom coming home to find him in the middle of kidnapping her daughter. It wouldn't look good on his plan.
He came out of his thoughts as he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Ty staring at him with concern on his face.
Ty bent to whisper to him "You need to be gentler with the girl if you want to take her with you. With your shouting and screaming, you're scaring her away" Ty pointed out to him before he turned to walk out of the door, to get the car ready for their departure.
Leon let out a sigh as he turned to stare at Skylar whose head was still bowed in fear. He looked away after some time as he schooled his facial expressions back to normal. Just like Ty had suggested, he needed to be gentle with her in order to get her to leave with him, he couldn't resolve to violence as her mother's secretary was in the shop. At a time like now, he hated the fact that Mrs. Evan's shop was close to her house.
With that resolution in mind, Leon turned to Skylar "Hey darling," Leon called to her in a sweet voice.
He watched as Skylar turned abruptly to stare at him in shock "I'm sorry. What were you saying?" Leon continued gently as he ventured back to her side with a forced smile on his face.
"I__ I__'' Skylar stammered slightly as she looked away from him. She couldn't trust him; he could only be this kind to her because he needed to get her acceptance for marriage. And she will never marry him. She was engaged to Vino.
"Will you make it snappy, we are running late" Leon called between them as he saw no coherent words were going to come out of her mouth.
"I'm sorry, '' Skylar apologized gently as she sighed heavily before she bent slowly to retrieve a paper and a pen from her mother's reading table. She was thankful it had been moved recently to the parlour. She remembered her mother's reading table always being in the study since she was a little girl.
With a speed of lightning, she pens down a note to her mother with subtle clues that could only be understood by her mother before she turns to follow Leon out of the door...

"Are you alright?"
Skylar's eyes snapped in the direction of her mother's shop. Anna was there staring at her with confusion as her eyes took in the people between her. Skylar opened her mouth to reply, thankful that Anna was there to prevent whatever Leon was going to do.
"Don't you dare?" Along with the seething voice that sent shivers down her spine and the cold gun pointed at her back, she swallowed back her words as she turned to smile at Anna.
"I'm okay. Tell Mom I stopped by '' Skylar forced herself to say as she bent to get into the car, sealing her fate for life.
"Oh! Okay," Anna replied with a smile on her face as she waved at Skylar who had gotten into the car.
Anna turned and was about to go back into her office when she remembered why she had stepped out "Congratulations on your engagement, Miss Evans. Have a nice day"
Skylar nodded as she took her eyes away from her smiley face of Anna, what irony that was? She ought to have been happy with her engagement but instead, it was giving her more pain than joy. it only brought Leon back into her life. The only man she had always hated.
She turned to watch Leon who had taken residence beside her while Ty took over the steering, as he pulled out of her mother's parking space, Skylar couldn't stop the tears that split down her face as she sobbed uncontrollably. Her hands, going to run at her wedding ring which seems to give her strength.
Leon sat tight limb as he looked out of the window looking at the late afternoon sun which was about to set. He was on edge; they weren't free yet. Anything could still happen but for now, he will content himself by having Skylar by his side. It's only a matter of time before she becomes his wife and that asshole billionaire boy will be forgotten soon.
A sob and a sniffling at his side got his attention, he turned to see Skylar in tears. He was shocked! Is that how much she hated being with him? As far as he could remember, she was always glad to be his girlfriend then, what changed now? Leon wondered in his mind but suddenly frowned as he had found the answers to his unasked question.
His eyes blazed hot as he turned to drag the ring from Skylar's hands, ignoring her protest. It was because of this stupid ring and that stupid rich man, that's why Skylar wouldn't love him and he was going to take that from him without thinking twice about it.
He finally got the ring out of her fingers after struggling with Skylar. He opened the window, and threw it out of the window "That feels so damn good!" He exclaimed with a smile on his face as he laughed excitedly before closing the window.
"Wake me when we get to the airport, I need to rest," Leon told Ty as he rested his head on the armrest and was soon fast asleep, filtering off Skylar's loud sob from his memory.

Skylar stood beside Ty who was watching Leon make a phone call over at the waiting lounge while they waited for their departure.
"Is anything the matter, Sky?" Ty asked, his eyes still following Leon's movement without looking at Skylar haven't noticed her eyes on him all this while.
"Don't you dare call me that? You've spoiled whatever privilege you have with me before" Skylar told him seething with annoyance as she glared at him.
Ty's head whipped around in shock. He wasn't expecting that tone from her "Whoa! Sky, tame that anger of yours, it isn't me you should be directing that at. We both know I'm just biding Leon's request"
"A request you could have refused '' Skylar again glared at him. She was so annoyed with him. If only he didn't aid Leon, he probably wouldn't be able to kidnap her right now. Damn! she hated Ty more than she ever would!
"I thought we were friends. I thought we______" Skylar paused as she sniffed back tears. This isn't for her to cry but she just couldn't control those tears. She felt hurt and betrayed. Is there no one in this world who clearly loves her...?
"You and Leon have been my only friends since childhood. I thought I could count on you both but now it isn't the case anymore" Skylar continued softly as she dabbed at her eyes before turning to enter the car. No matter how emotional she gets, it wasn't going to change either Ty or Leon's minds. They were hell-bent on kidnapping her but why?
Skylar jolted out of her thoughts immediately when she heard a tap at the window. She turned to see Ty staring down at her with concern on his face "I'm sorry. I didn't want this. He ____" Ty paused, waiting while contemplating within himself how much to tell her. He turned to see that Leon was still busy on his phone.
"He did what, Ty? Did he threaten you? I can help you there. My fiancé is a rich man, he could____"
"No. No, Sky, that's not it" Ty replied as he rushed to cut her off. He can't have her judging Leon wrongly "Leon didn't threaten me. If for anything, he promised to get me back with Becca. And you know how much I loved that woman" Ty smiled at her while winking.
Skylar taps the door angrily "Is this what is? You sold me because of some woman?" Skylar practically screamed up at him.
"Not just any woman, Sky. She is the woman I would ever love" Ty replied with a smile on his face. He couldn't wait to get back to Spain. He couldn't wait to meet Becca.
"Since this is about love, surely you'll understand why I can't marry Leon. I'm in love with Vino. Please, help me, Ty. Just this once"
"What's going on here?"
Skylar shivered in shock; she wasn't expecting Leon back soon. She was so engrossed in Ty that she didn't notice him walking over to them.
"Relax man!" Skylar watched Ty laugh as he pats Leon on his back before continuing "Nothing is going on. I'm not interested in Skylar if that's what you mean. My heart is filled with the thought of Becca. She's all yours'' Ty replied before turning to pick up his bag from the driver's seat. He walked to the plane while whistling with a broad smile on his face.
He paused and turned to stare back at the couple "Are you guys not coming? I'm dying to meet Becca again. Gush! it's been three years already" he said before walking over to the departure.
"Are you coming?" Leon called to Skylar, already picking up his bag from the car before locking it. The car hire company should be able to find their car soon after tracking it as he couldn't return it in person.
"As if I had a choice" Skylar replied under her breath as she scoffed and followed him to the departure.
"I heard what you say. And if you don't keep shut and bid my command, you'll regret your sorry face" Leon called threateningly at her before dragging her into the plane.
Skylar gulped nervously as she could see he wasn't bluffing. If she needed to get on Leon's good book, she really needed to scold her lips.
Skylar sat down beside Leon on the plane. She had obviously expected that. Now she was trapped with him. How could she even escape when he's there with her?
"Don't even think of trying anything stupid. You will not get away with it and it will only make you hurt. Now I'll like to sleep. Behave!" And with that Leon relaxed on his seat and closed his eyes with his hands on his chest and a satisfied smile on his face. He went to sleep knowing fully well that the woman he had ever loved was right beside him.
Skylar bit her lips to keep them from quivering with tears as she gazed at the rise and fall of his chest. How could she dare try anything even though Leon was asleep but Ty was there to watch her? As if on cue, Ty's eyes rose to meet hers and he smiled just as the plane took off, sealing Skylar's fate forever.
