The Ruthless Alpha's Innocent Breeder

Chapter 121

Ch. 121 / 140 Jan 12, 2026

Eero's perspective

I narrowed my eyes at Claudius and slightly nudged his arm to follow up on the question that I had asked him earlier.

"Did my son saw us, Claudius?" I asked again through the mind link. Claudius was about to finally open his lips to respond to me when I heard Perseus whining at Miguel.

"Papa, why did you cover my eyes? Let go of me, Papa! I'm coming to greet, Mama. Why are you stopping me?" Hearing that from my pup gave me the courage to turn around to them.

"Papa, let go of my eyes! I want to see, Mama!" Perseus whined again, only that this time the irritation in his voice was loud and clear.

"Whoever manages to reach your Mama first will get a kiss from her and a tight hug!" Miguel spat as soon as he let go of Perseus. Miguel acted as if he was heading towards me, which made Perseus run to me faster. I crouched and opened my arms to welcome my son.

"Mama!" Perseus giggled as he buried his face against my abdomen. I couldn't help but play with his hair while I eyed Miguel and mouthed the word thank you to him. I know that he did that so Perseus wouldn't see me kissing another man.

"I won! I won, Mama. Can I have my kiss now? I want it on my cheeks. Can I have two kisses?" He asked and flattered his eyelids at me cutely. I nodded to him and lightly damp my lips on his fluffy cheeks. Perseus once again giggled. His curious eyes wandered around the hall of the realm until it landed on Claudius.

Perseus's eyes narrowed at him. It felt like my son could see something to Claudius that only he could see. Perseus lightly tugged the hem of my blouse.

"Mama, isn't he the man in the picture that you were keeping under your drawer?" Perseus asked.

I wanted to play it cool and pretended that I didn't know what my son was talking about.

"I'm sorry, that I run through your things. It was an accident, Mama. I was looking for one of the pieces of your Lego when I saw that picture." Perseus once again pointed at Claudius.

"In that picture. This man was holding me. I wanted to ask you a long time ago who he was, but I'm afraid that you'd scold me if I went through your things, so I didn't tell you about the picture."

My head was haywire and then it short-circuited.

"I was always home. How come we didn't realize that Perseus found the family picture that we had with Claudius?" I asked my wolf, but she was just as confused.

Claudius held out his hand to my son.

"Hello, I'm Claudius Cormac, your—"

"Claudius!" I called his name in a blur, afraid that Claudius would suddenly tell Perseus the truth. I shook my head at Claudius with pleading eyes. On the corner of my eyes, I noticed my pup's confused face.

"I'm someone important to your Mama and to you, Perseus. It was nice meeting you, little prince." Hearing that felt like stub wounds on my heart. Right there and then, I wanted to fix everything and tell Perseus that Claudius was his biological father.

"Someone important? You mean, you're our family? Are we related to you by blood? We have the same eyes." Perseus bombed Claudius with questions and even when I was already squeezing my son's hand to make him stop asking these questions, Perseus was unstoppable.

"Yes, I'm blood-related to you," Claudius answered. He crouched and then he gently played with the hair of his son.

Even Miguel was surprised that Perseus didn't have a violent reaction to what Claudius did. Perseus quietly, but with a smile fixes his hair.

"You're right, you do have my eyes, little prince." Claudius flashed a smile, and suddenly Claudius looked like he was the kindest and warmest man alive in the entire Regulus.

"Did you know that when your mother is still pregnant with you? He likes looking into my eyes? She said that she wanted you to have my eyes, and you really ended up having them." Perseus's eyes rounded up at the little story that he heard from Claudius. He panned me to ask for confirmation, and I could only nod my head.

"You were with my Mama when she was pregnant with me? That means that you're really close to her, but how come that this is my first time seeing you?" Perseus pouted his lips.

I squeezed my pup's hand again which made him look in my direction.

"Your Uncle Claudius has things that he needs to do and errands that he must attend to. You should say your goodbye to him, Perseus."

Perseus took a step to get closer to Claudius. My son held his father's hand.

"Do you really need to go now, Uncle Claudius? I still want to talk to you. I want to listen to your stories. You seem like a fun uncle," he said.

I was about to say something to stop Perseus from bothering Claudius when Miguel held my arm. I turned to him and he shook his head at me. I closed my lips and looked back at Claudius and Perseus.

"A fun uncle?" Claudius asked, amused at his own son's description of him. Perseus enthusiastically nodded his head.

Claudius softly pinched Perseus' nose, "I never expected that a day like this would come. That someone will describe me as fun."

"Huh? Do the shifters think that you aren't fun? What do they call you then?"

"Ruthless? Snob? Cold?" Perseus's forehead knotted.

"But are you any of those words that they call you?"

Claudius nodded his head to his son, "But you are not like that to me. Maybe they did something bad to you that's why you were ruthless and cold to them?"

"Maybe?" Claudius seconded. Perseus giggled. Claudius stiffened and still as Perseus suddenly hugged him, by the look on his face, he wasn't expecting it.

"Mama, please let me hang out with Uncle Claudius for a little while. I like him," he said. A constipated smile formed on my lips.

"Of course, he'll like Claudius. That is his father!" My wolf screamed at me.

"Some other day? Didn't you come here to see your Grandpa's funeral—"

"I'll go be with him to see the wake of his grandpa," Claudius cut me off as he gave me and Miguel a meaningful look.

"You and your husband look like you need to talk," Claudius added.
