I Rejected The Alpha For Being A Bully

Chapter 65

Ch. 65 / 94 Feb 12, 2026

Helen felt like she needed to use the bathroom as her bowels had been filled. Slowly, she blinked her eyes to the mild brightness of the lampshade beside the bed. She was certain that it was night already but she wasn't exactly sure of the time, being that they both had been busy for hours.

After the doggy escapade of theirs on the sofa,Max had carried her bridal style to the room for another round of intense pounding.

Helen rolled her hands on Max's side of the bed but didn't find him. She was alarmed because he had told her that his Beta would head the midnight patrol,so he could be with her all night. "So what changed",she thought to herself.

She listened to be sure he wasn't in the bathroom, before finally sitting up in bed. She wrapped her hands over her naked body and decided to walk naked to the bathroom, when she couldn't find anything to wear.

Helen opened the toilet seat and sat on it, draining her filled bowels in relief. She had been too tired to use the bathroom, after their steamy session,so she slept off. Flushing the yellowish liquid in the toilet bowl, she shut it and walked out.

Max was still not in sight when she returned. She could sense his presence faintly,so she decided to go in search of her man. Helen searched for something to wear as the cold was already playing with her skin uncomfortably.

She found a large bathrobe and put it on quickly. Helen walked around the house in search of Max but didn't find him. She wondered where he could be and decided to search the study. There he was! All handsome, staring deeply at the dark from the window.

Helen knew he was disturbed about the greyhound he had seen earlier.

"Hey! You alright?",she asked, giving him a hug from the back.

Max turned to her and smiled, "I'm fine my love". She knew better. He was troubled.

"What troubles you my Alpha? Do you not want me here? As you still seem not satisfied with my presence?", Helen asked, putting up a sad face.

"No.. baby. I want you more than anything in the world. Just have a lot on my mind, that's all",he replied warmly kissing her hands.

"Is it about the greyhound? Promise me, you wouldn't disturb yourself over that greyhound", Helen said softly.

"I promise to be safe for you,my Queen and that includes protecting you and my pack from danger",Max said firmly before they walked back to bed to catch some sleep.

Morning came too soon for Helen as the rays of the morning sun pierced through the windows and shone warmly on her face. She opened her eyes and looked at Max,who slept comfortably like a baby. She smiled at his face and kissed his lips.

Max must have been deeply asleep as he didn't open his eyes, but he held her closely and snuggled, burying his face in her neck. Helen chuckled lightly and patted him gently on his back, before quietly sliding out of his arms.

She was going to leave in two hours,so she decided to cook something, especially as Adam was set to return soon.

Helen turned on the faucet and washed her hands, before brushing her mouth and her face. She wiped off with a clean towel and stepped out of the bathroom. She met Max lying on his back and snoring lightly.

She could waste an entire day just staring at him,so she rushed off, trying not to make a sound. On their way back from their picnic the day before, they had stopped by at the mart and she bought some vegetables, fruits and rice.

Helen took out the fresh tomatoes, carrots, onions and lettuce and began chopping. She parboiled the rice and fried it in with green vegetables. She added the chopped vegetables and stirred, then she fried the chunks of chicken and steamed them in soy sauce.

She had been so focused on cooking that she didn't realize Max was watching her from the doorway. He walked sneakily behind her and startled her. Helen gave a fright cry,and tried to slap his shoulder but he ran off.

After a failed chase, Helen gave a pout and went back to her bubbling stew. Max wrapped his hands slowly around her and kissed her cheek.

"Good morning beautiful",he said.

"Good morning. How was your night?",she asked, still stirring the stew.

"Oh..good. I think I made someone scream my name. How was yours?",he replied

"Yada yada..well mine was better. It felt good to see someone plead for my body so much,I had to oblige in sympathy",she gave her comeback.

Max roared in laughter and tickled Helen. "No..stop it. I have to finish this before Adam gets back", Helen said in between fits of laughter, triggered by the tickles.

"Daddy! Aunty Helen!", Adam's voice interrupted. Both adults turned to see Adam running towards them, with the housekeeper, following him slowly.

"Hey boy! Look who's back! Now,how was Grandma!",he asked

"She's fine. She sends her regards. Hi auntie Helen!",Adam called.

"Good morning Adam. You look great. Is it just me or have you grown taller?",Helen asked in surprise.

Adam laughed displaying his dimples. He held her tight and Helen carried him.

"I was making us some rice and chicken. Would you like that?",she asked him and he nodded in affirmation.

"Okay then, sit on the chair with daddy and wait while I serve everyone.", Helen said and he nodded.

The housekeeper smiled ,then bowed courteously before taking Adam's little suitcase to his room. She returned hastily and helped Helen in serving the plates for breakfast. The housekeeper,a young lady in her twenties, was a quiet one, whom they called Elvane.

Helen dished everyone's meal, then joined father and child at the dining. Elvane preferred to be alone,so she cleaned up the kitchen, before taking her food to her room.

"So how is Grandma doing?"Helen asked Adam, who was trying to cut a piece of chicken with his cutlery.

"She's fine. Told her about you",Adam replied with a shrug. Before Helen had a chance to ask again,Adam continued speaking.

"She said someday she'll meet you",Adam said.

Max was very surprised but was careful not to show it. He smiled at his son and winked at Helen who was still in shock.

"She's a nice woman. She helped me through..um..that tough time. I know you'll like her",Max said sweetly.

Helen nodded and continued in her meal, dishing some hot sauce for Adam who had licked the sweet sauce leaving his chicken bare. After a few minutes of dining, the breakfast came to an end. Elvana Came out almost immediately to clear the dishes, while Helen strolled to the room to freshen up and get dressed.

Max joined her in the room and watched quietly as she got dressed. He had experienced the best time in his life, with her and was feeling sad she was leaving. He held her hands and walked her to his car, after she hugged Adam and kissed his cheeks.

"I'll make sure the next time you come around, you're not leaving, Helen",Max said, holding her chin to face him, then he kissed her.

Helen smiled at him lovingly and nodded. She wanted that too.
